We've gotten some calls with people having trouble logging into Plesk.
In almost all cases, if you know you are using the right username and password, it is because of the security settings on your Browser.
We've seen this now since the advent of IE 6 (running with windows XP) and Firefox. If you enter the username and password and it just keeps coming back to the log in screen do the following.
Go to tools and then options.
Go to Privacy
In firefox pick the cookie tab and go to exceptions.
For IE go to privacy and click on sites
In both cases there is a line to type in
you MUST type it in like this
https:// <note the S you have to include the S
so you type https://mail.yourdomainname.com:8443
Notice MAIL not WWW Type Mail to insure you are going to the right server. put in your domain name and followed by a colon : and then the #s 8443
tell it to always all and that should override your cookie settings in either browswer. |

Hello,
It means that Plesk IP access policy was configured in such a way that Plesk cannot be accessed from the current IP. To enable Plesk CP access one needs to login to Plesk Control Panel locally and change IP access policy. It can be done the following way. If localhost is also blocked and it is impossible to login to Plesk even locally, the Plesk database records regarding access policy need to be corrected. This means Plesk IP access policy was configured in such a way that Plesk cannot be accessed from the current IP. To enable Plesk CP access one needs to login to Plesk Control Panel locally and change IP access policy.
Thanks
