Hi,

I received an e-mail from you a few days ago saying I needed to patch my PHPBB2 bullitin board immediately. I have gone out to PHPBB.com and now downloaded the correct patch file. I have currently uploaded the file to my web location on your server. My next step is to run some unix commands to fix the problem. How do I run unix commands on your server? The commands I need to run are pasted below.

patch -cl -d [PHPBB DIRECTORY] -p1 < [PATCH NAME]

After that is done I need to run:

install/update_to_210.php


Please help me to comply with your request!

Hi,

Not a problem, I can have someone take a look in the morning. What we've had everyone actually do and its probabally the better approach. Is to run the backkup utility.

Set up the new version then load from the restore. Quicker and cleaner IMO...

But if you need our help of course we are willing to do that.
