|

| I have an existing site (it was built for me, and I can only assume that original upload was FTP). I am trying to publish replacement, this time using Front Page. I can see the pages transferring, and get the confirmation that it is complete. Unfortunately, when I open my web site, the old pages are still there. What do I need to do to actually replace the original page(s) with the new design from Front Page? |

Hi,
I did not see a domain name in this post, however, if I had to guess you have two index pages saved on the server.
You have to name your index page index.htm or index.html.
If you are saying you don't see the changes, make sure you index page is named index.htm and that will correct the issue.
Old index page=index.htm
New index page=index.html
If you change page you made to index.htm it will fix the problem. |

As a user of FrontPage, I would have to agree with Beth. This has happened to me on several occassions. You really have to watch the file extension when you save the index file or any file for that matter.
