Hi -

I'm doing more and more with php on my site. I'm still new to it, but I understand there is a php.ini file that controls the configuration of php. Is there just one master php.ini file, or do you allow individual customers their own version of this file?

One of the settings I am interested in is called upload_max_filesize. If there is just one master php.ini file, can I ask what you have this set to?

Thanks!

PHP.ini is a global file. We have the max file upload set to a resonable amount. This protects the integrity of the server where as an improper upload script can cause a wide varities of issues.

Imagine if a hacker site got a hold of an improperly written script only to upload illegal sofware on your site. There are bots that search for this type situation to exploit.

Customizing PHP.ini is getting into a realm of a dedicated machine. We also try to set limits to be reasonable but still making sure the residents of that server and their websites are safe and free from a security compromise.
