Problem: I open the server's site with FP and create a subsite/web. That action creates a file called index.htm which blows up the buttons as there is already a file named index.html which displays the buttons. I removed index.htm this morning from the server's site and the buttons reappeared(disregard reinstalling FP extensions). Is this a FP bug? I shouldn't have 2 index pages. I know you can solve this in 3 minutes!!!

The easiest way to fix this problem is to log into the server live via http:// method ... You can find directions how to do that here. http://www.webhostingforidiots.com/helpdesk/log_in_live.html

right click on your file and rename it to the extension you want. Either .htm or .html.
