Do Real Estate Agents not like to show buyers foreclosed

We've been working with a real estate agent and every time I bring up exploring foreclosed properties in the area, she "stonewalls" us and says there aren;t opportunities (which I know is bs).

Does she not get a good commission on foreclosed properties? I've told her we have plenty of time to wait out a foreclosure if the potential deal is worth it.

The buying home for half price did use to exist as well. At one point, foreclosures in Canada would allow foreclosed homes to be sold at rock bottom prices. The new law, which has been in placed for many years now require the homes be sold at the highest possible price for foreclosed homes or else the lenders could be sued. Hence, sometimes foreclosed homes sell higher because Canadians have the misconception that foreclosed homes are a really good deal causing it to have a reverse affect. There have been many people buying foreclosed homes believing they got a good deal and not doing a thorough check as to the actual value of the home.

They are No Follow. Most blogs these days are no-follow unless the blog owner decides to remove the no-follow attribute from comments. A lot of WordPress blog owners are using plug-ins like Comment Luv and intentionally allowing do-follow comments. Also thought I would mention that forum comment signature links are more likely to be do-follow, although it can take a little more time to make constructive comments since you typically have to register with the forum before you can comment.
