| Just curious what timezone the server is in? I'm trying to get my forums on my site to display the correct time. Thanks. |

| They are east coast but like this forum, it shows gmt until the user logs in and specifies a time zone. Now as i'm logged in i see the right time. |

Thanks, it must be daylight savings time throwing me off....? Do I need to change my timezone while on DST, or do most of these forums compensate for that?
E.g. I see that it says all times are GMT-6 for me, but the times are still an hour early. |

It goes off the server time so the server time adjusted, it has to honestly or no one could process credit cards. It only allows 15 minutes off or it declines the charge.
I am posting this @ 5:46 cdt |

| actually i had to adjust. my time on my profile. In doing that i now see the right time so i'm presently gmt -5. GMT doesn't adjust for DST, i guess. But it is my profile that is displaying the time. |
