About Domain Registration Renewals

It appears that has been another flood of letters go out regarding domain renewals. Its letters to you our customers saying that you need to pay your domain renewals. Only problem is, we didn't send them.

These letters do no come on our letterhead but they do insinuate that you have to pay the invoice or your domain will expire. We've had many of your say that you assumed that we were bought out and this is the new company sending it. That is not true.

We also stress that if you recieve a notice in snailmail or via fax regarding your domain renewal its a 99% probaballity that we did not send it to you. We ask any of our customers before you write a check or give your credit card # out to anyone to check with us first. We provide free domain services to 70% or our customers and most cases there is no money due.

From what I understand the quality of backordering services varies wildly (some only check hourly or daily or whatever, some check much more frequently), so you might want to ask on one of the major webmaster or domain forums which they recommend. But try several. At the same time.
