| its still located in the same place but I believe its a blank directory. If you ant the old ones we can go swipe the direcoty off the old server. Let me know if you need us to do this. |

Hi,
Anything that we perviously in that directory can be accessed via ftp://63.111.67.249
If you would like us to get them iif you can submit a list of domains to techsupport@actwd.com we'll be happy to go move them for you. |

I copied the entire contents of the old webstat folder to the new webstat folder but I am still not showing my old stats. I would really like my old stats to show up. Please advise what I might be doing wrong.
thanks

without getting all technical. the webstat directory isn't like the old one and doesn't function the same.
So to view the old one what we've been doing is making a directory named old or something like and putting the old webstat directory contents in there. Then when you go there, the old stuff is there. |

you didn't knock out the directory the server writes to did you?
If it doesn't update the new directory in the morning, let me know. |

My webstats appeared this morning, however they started on the 14th. I was able to go into the old server and FTP my webstats folder onto my hard drive so I dont lose them. This month will be messed up because half of its stats are in the old file and the other half will be in the new file and I dont know of a way to merge them together. But at least I was able to save the last two years worth of stats.
Any idea what directory the new stats are in. There is no /webstat directory. There is a /statistics directory but I am unable to access it. Unauthorized. |

It looks to us that they symlinked it from the statistic directory to httpdocs.
Not sure the logic on it. I haven't tried to hit it with an ftp program to see what it does.
On the merging, no it can't be merged becasue the files are written @ the time it reads the log. |

Beth,
I left the origial "webstat" folder and made another renaming it to "webstat2004", so I think it should be working ok. It looks like it is correct. Thanks for the concern.
