| When ever I go to the Plesk Login page, I get an error message page stating There is a problem with this website's security certificate. Why is this and can it be corrected? |

The use of the https is there to encrypt your username and password as it travels over the internet.
The certificate that its complaining about is because the certificate is not in your domain name but in my name. To fix it would be to get your own SSL. But really nothing's broken and for just a log in reason, its not cost effective to guy just not to get an error screen.
If you just tell it continue, the goal of encryption is met and that is the most important part.
Please let us know if you have other questions. |

| I've got my hosting from a different business but they also have Plesk. I mus say I never had problems with it that weren't solved with a call at their support team. I was searching the web for Plesk problems to see if I should renew my hosting contract or if there are other suggestions from users that have had problems with Plesk. For now I think I'm gonna stick with it. If any of the moderators from this forum think otherwise, please let me know why. Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated! |
