| Email FAQs - I keep
getting bounce messages back on a mailbox I created. |
If you or someone else are
receiving bounce receipts on a mailbox you created it means
one of two things. Either they are typing the address
incorrectly or there is a problem with the mailbox setup.
Even though it may sound simplistic, verify that the mailbox
name was spelled correctly. A capital letter, misplaced
. or space can cause a mismatch and make mail bounce.
If you've verified the address and it's correct, check you
mail settings in your control panel. The most common
mistake that causes bounces is users placing the mailname in
the mail group and creating a loop. (See image below) |

If you see
names listed in the mailgroup box single click on a name
to highlight it and click Remove to remove it from the
box. Continue until all names are removed.
When finished, click UPDATE. |
