- FrontPage Reading and Links
What
software do I need to use Front Page for my website?
In order to create your website with Front Page you will need
to install on Microsoft FrontPage 97, 98, 2000, or Express on
your computer. FrontPage Express comes bundled with
Internet Explorer, so if you have this browser installed, you
most likely have FrontPage Express. While any of these
programs will work, to use all of the features available, you
need to use FrontPage 2000 on your computer.
Can I use FrontPage 98?
Certainly. While the server extensions we install on
your account are meant for FrontPage 2000, they are also
compatible with any previous version of Front Page.
Can I use FrontPage Express?
Yes, though you will not be able to use many of the features
available in the full version of FrontPage 2000. Keep in
mind that Express is a very scaled down version of FrontPage.
Is there a free version of FrontPage
I can use?
Yes, FrontPage Express. It is bundled free with Internet
Explorer.
How can I purchase FrontPage?
FrontPage can be purchased at most software retailers or
online by clicking
